This morning I sat down at the dining table and had breakfast, and there was the Sing Tao Chinese newspaper in front of me. I usually don't read the newspapers, if I do, I only read headlines and the Entertainment section. When I got to the 2nd to the last page of the Entertainment part, there was this big headline that says something like "Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro trying/having the possibility (sorry, I don't have the newspaper right now and I don't remember the wording exactly) to win over Hanadan." I was like o__0!? They have another Kitaro movie!? I saw the 1st one last year on my flight to Hong Kong, and I remember seeing Mao-chan in it. I thought Eiji Wentz is cute!
I continued reading the article, and at the bottom, it had a small section talking about the Hanadan campaign with the chartered ANA plane. There was a small picture of Mao-chan, Tonton, and Shun. Matsujun was cut off!!!! Evil Johnny's rule!!!
I remember one of the first words of the article is Jun's name, so I was pretty happy about that even though there was no picture of Jun, as expected.
I hope Handan F stays at the top of the box office. Nothing can be F4 and Mao-chan!! Handan forever!!
I made my reservation for the Hidden Fortress premiere! Yay! A chance of seeing Jun and his new movie, hopefully...
I also made reservation for the on campus admitted student reception, which is also on April 27. *feeling so lucky* I had to use the reception to persuade my parents and strengthen my reason of going. It'll be a long day at USC if I really get to go.
Lol, I better bring my fatty calc book and AP books along to study. Don't want to fail any major exams cuz of fangirling. >_<
Air tickets (roundtrip) to LA is about $160, pretty affordable, I guess.
Now I hope that I'll get a confirmation email saying that there's a seat for me at the premiere. If anyone who've made a reservation got a definite confirmation, please tell me. I want to know how big of a chance I have. Thank you in advance. ^-^
I first read it from Iroiro's post. I totally screamed when I saw this. Thank you so much for this news. It totally made my (birth)day!
Ok, so, I'll explain why I put so many "!" in the title of this post. How many are there? Like 20, maybe? *trying to calm myself down before I launch into my explanation*
Oh, by the way. Here's the official page to the event.
Jun is going to LA for the premiere of Kakushi Toride / Hidden Fortress! This is already a really big news to me. I missed my chance of going to Las Vegas to see him film Hanadan. And now, he's coming back to the US! Does that mean the movie is going to be shown in the US? Another chance of me seeing Jun! At least it's closer this time. I live in Nor Cal, which is closer to LA than to LV.
But this is not it. Not the full reason why I put all those exclamation points there in the title.
I was there at the Eileen Norris Cinema Theatre just 5 days ago! I was standing in front of it during my college visit / campus tour at USC!! I remember it cuz of the waterfall thing in front of the theater.
So, will I be going back to USC to see Jun or...?
I doubt I'll have the chance of going there. Unless USC has some special even that I must attend...Ok, I'll make this clearer. I got accepted and USC is the college that I plan on attending. I made this decision before I heard of the premiere event, so Jun has nothing to do with me choosing which college I go to! I'll revisit USC in June for a freshman orientation, and in August, I'll be moving in.
Where's the lil card that USC sent me with all those orientation dates? *trying to find it* Is there one on April 27, so I have a real excuse of going there? Also, one thing that I saw on the card -- orientation in Hong Kong! Wow, does it mean that many people in HK are interested in going go USC? (I was born in HK and have lived there for 10 yrs) Well, that's a good thing. It's much easier for me to make new friends at college if there's a lot students from HK.
Now I'm actually excited about going to college.
During the campus tour, the guide points out that USC is strong in business and film. I'm going to study business, and the guide is currently majoring in theater. And what she said is totally true! The college got Jun to come, how can it be any better? USC students often get to see new movies that haven't been shown in theaters yet, lucky them. Well, I'll soon be one too, I guess. ^-^ Why can't I go to college a year earlier so right now I'll be there already...
Oh, just another little thing that I thought of.
If Jun's visiting USC, that means very likely, there'll be USC students getting Jun-baited! Lol. That means there's going to be a boom of Arashi fans at USC! Maybe a fan club or something will be formed before I become a freshman there. I'll so join it when I get there!
Lol, I'm still too excited over this news. Before, I was kinda indifferent about college, but now I actually want to go. I'm so glad I made my decision, well, I haven't committed yet, but still...At first, I chose USC cuz it's the best college that I got into, although not my 1st or 2nd choice. Actually, I didn't even rank USC in my own college choices...it's a very good private college anyways, though much more expensive than UCs...
Since USC got Jun visiting and premiering his new movie there, I'm definitely coming! Fight on, Trojans!
Sorry for sounding over-excited. I'm usually not like this. ^^;
Should I try asking for my parents to let me go? I can use the excuse of going to the open-campus day for admitted freshmen ^^, which I found out is exactly on 4/27! But my math final is 3 days after that, and then I have AP tests in early to mid-May...T_T
But what are the chances of me getting a seat there, even if I try reservation...
Jun was at SFO yesterday, transiting his flight from LA at SF, then back to Japan. (?)

Got this rumor from taki @ soompi forum. Her friend who works at SFO is so luck ne~ Getting the chance to escort celebrities at the airport...
I live like 30-40 mins away from SFO! Jun was just THAT far away from me...

Well, there's no concrete evidence or witnesses who saw that Jun was really there. It was just rumor...Plus, if he's transiting or connecting flights then fans can't really see him anyways. He'll be in the international terminal while us fans can only be outside...Unless you're so crazy that you've bought air tickets to get into the terminal, or even fly to Japan with Jun.
When I heard the rumor, I was just like, OMG! I could have been there. I was just unlucky...fate....why?
My friend, who turned into a Kame fan b/c of me indirectly, came back from NY that day. I wonder if she saw any commotion in the airport, but I doubt it...Now that she's into Japanese idols, it wouldn't be that hard for me to convert her to an Arashi fan.
Why did Jun fly back to Japan from SFO? Then, I learned that somebody said his flight from LA got canceled...
There are also rumors about Jun and the rest of F4 coming back to US for more filming at the end of the month? Maybe in (Little Tokyo in) LA or something? Or better yet SF Japan Town? Although it really doesn't have anything cool there....
How come these are all rumors? Aaaaargh! I wish the Hanadan movie is filmed in SF so I can go see them! *cries*
Why can't I be there????? Nande nande nande?
I'm the one shaking the other poor bunny.
Uwah!!!

Ok, enough of those dramatic actions.
Never mind...Why can't I be in Hong Kong where everyone there is celebrating Chinese New Year? My friends there all have like a week off! If I were in HK, I not only had no school, got to go to flower's market, and had the chance to see Matsujun over the holiday break! I feel like crying. This is cruel, unfair. When Jun comes to Las Vegas, that's the last day of my long weekend. I can't go to see him in LV either...
Crazy, yet forunate, HK fangirls "welcoming"...stalking Matsujun. Jun seems to be quite angry ne. I hope he's not scared of his fans b/c Arashi HAS to do a concert in HK sometime in the future, please! Or better, please come to the U.S. since I now live in California.
Jun definitely needs more bodyguards/security guards! The fans are really close to him. I think they even get the chance to touch him...
I'm embarrased/ashamed 'cuz I'm from HK. If I were there, I'd just silently hold up a sign and welcome Jun peacefully. I'd probably let a out a little scream, but that'd be it. No touching, since Jun doesn't like touching unless he initiates it. Plus, all those crazy fangirls have ruined HK's fans image. I think they should behave more properly when seeing their idol, so their idol will think of the fans as nice people and consider coming more often. I really wonder how Jun thinks of his HK fans. Pissed? Used to crazy fangirls? Shocked to see them? Jun, please accept my apology for all those fans there at the airport.
I've seen it on blogs and forums that US fans are making a set of rules of "how to behave when we see Jun." That's a good idea. *sigh* US fans seem much nicer than HK fans. Once again, I feel ashamed to be a HKer. Well, I'm more like a US fan now, so it's ok. Actually, I'm not ok since I'm an unlucky US fan. I live in California, which is right next to Nevada where Las Vegas is. On the day before Jun comes to LV, I'll be leaving NV b/c of my ski trip. Perhaps I can convince my parents to drive southward to LV, instead of south-westward to CA. I can only hope for a miracle to happen.
Arashi no Shukudai-kun episode 70 -- 2/11/2008
Sawada Shin's little sister is the guest! Her name is Ichikawa Yui.
New corner: Shiodome Aibaland!
I don't get the "shiodome" part. Did Aiba said something like, "シオドメ"? Shouldn't it be "ドーム”? In front of the writing "Aibaland", there are 2 kanji's which I don't know how to read. Or may be he said "しよう dome"..."しよう or shi you" means "let's do it", and "dome"...I don't really know why they stick that word there...Haha, just my random, stupid guesses.
This episode is as funny as the housework episode, or perhaps even funnier! Arguably the best episode of Shukudai-kun, in my opinion.
First, let's start with some gifs.
gif from aibaland @ vox.
I want to make it just to try it out!

After all, Nino is the smart one ne. Well, of course Keio boy is smart too! Lol, I'm over using the angry onion head.
Demo, Riida is kawaii at the very end with his cute smile and peace sign. The magazine scans that I found recently are really good, so I decided to put them all in a post.

Jun and Aiba look good in this issue. Jun looks like an "Ore-sama", and lately, I find Aiba becoming prettier and prettier. Yes, I mean pretty.
They all look good pink in the first 2 pics.
The orange and black remind me of Halloween, lol.

Pretty Aiba! Kya~
Sho, as always, looks really good in a suit. I'm not used to seeing Riida wearing a suit, but I guess it looks alright on him, although I do think that his baby face doesn't really go too well with it. Omg, Nino's hair is weird...'cuz it's wet? Aiba and Jun, the model pair, look really good too, especially Aiba. I seriously think Aiba is getting prettier. Sho and Aiba's stares are...kya~ Jun looks mysterious...and as always, kakkoi.

They all look very good wearing white. The combo of white and green gives this "fresh" feeling, just like spring. Maybe I'm biased since my school colors are green and white.
Jun the "Ore-sama", kakkoi. Mmmm....Sho's hair makes him look a bit weird here. Riida is cute as always. Nino looks pretty good here too.
Here's Aiba singled out for his prettiness again!

Ready?
Drum roll please...
Ok, here they are!

I especially like Riida's and Sho's. Hehe.
Riida finally looks more mature, with his goatee. I still prefer the kawaii Riida though. I'm just not used to seeing Arashi like this.
Killer stares from Nino, Aiba, and Jun!
I thought Jun would be more open...since he has done a much, much,
MUCH daring job in AnAn before...
I'm not going to post the AnAn February 2007 pics, but here's the link to revisit them:

After Jun, Yamapi, whom I also like other than Arashi, follows Jun's footpath...Noooo!
Ok, I thought Jun's pics are already too much for me...After I saw Yamapi's...OMG! He doesn't have to do that to promote for his new Kurosagi movie, does he? His pics are even more "extreme" than Jun's. Well, I guess it's good that I'm not a really big fan of Yamapi. I'm just shocked, not happy or sad to see those pics. Please don't let any other Arashi members pose like Yamapi, ever. I won't be able to take it...Onegai~
The Hana Yori Dango movie crew is going to Las Vegas and Hong Kong for filming!
Info from Luchs @ soompi forum. Thank you so much for the details!
"they'll be filming in public, so there WILL be people all around, so im sure fans can watch. just dont scream too much since they have to do dialogs? xD
as promised, here are some info. please remember that everything is SUBJECT TO CHANGE, dont hold me responsible ;p
so as far as i know, they'll be filming at my hotel for 2 days, february 19th and 20th. the hotel i work at is called The Orleans Hotel & Casino, located about a mile west of the strip on Tropicana ave.
February 19: filming starts around 2pm-9pm.
they only mentioned tsukushi and tsukasa tho (and the antagonist i think), so i dont know if the rest of F4 will be there. shigeru is mentioned, but i don't know if she'll appear at my hotel >.>;; see my note below.
February 20: around 3pm-whenever it's done o.O
there will be scenes with tsukushi, tsukasa, F4, antagonist1, and what looks like antagonist2 because there's a scene of tsukasa chasing him xD
filming will happen all over the casino, black jack table and roulette in the pit area, slot machines, valet entrance, and restaurant.
note that the whole crew is actually staying in the US for 2 weeks, pretty much the last 2 weeks of February. They'll be filming at other locations too such as The Palms (there's a scene of tsukushi and tsukasa dining with shigeru at Alize), Bellagio, somewhere on the strip, and even at Valley of Fire."
My reaction and comments:
Jun and Shun are coming to the U.S.!
I live in California, and LV is not that far from CA...well, from where I live, it takes about...I dunno...8 hours to drive there, depending if I take any breaks on my way. I really really want to go because I don't have school on 2/19 (last day of my long weekend)!!
My family is going to skiing for the 2-3 days before 2/19. About 2 years ago, we drove from Tahoe after skiing to LV for Andy Lau's concert. On our way there, we even stayed in Death Valley. How I wish I can go to LV again after skiing to see Matsujun and Oguri Shun. Even better is if I can go with friends/fans. Well, I told my friend at school, who is a Shun fan, but she didn't seem really excited about the news like I was. She just plainly said she can't wait for the movie to come out in the summer.
Conversations regarding the news:
My mom overheard the conversation between me and my friend, except not perfectly... Later, when I was grocery shopping with my mom, we had this conversation:
Mom: Our friends are not going skiing with us. So, we don't really have to go to Tahoe. We can go to Las Vegas instead.
Me:
Really? I want to go! But the problem is that I'll have to skip 1 day of school...
Mom: How are you going to get the tickets?
Me: What tickets?
*thinking that something ominous is going to happen*
Oh no, you thought I was talking about an Arashi concert in LV?
Mom: Isn't that why you're so happy and excited?
Me:
No, one of the members (Jun) and some other guys are just going there to film a movie...I wish Arashi is holding a concert in LV. I'd definitely go no matter what!
-end of conversation-
Another very short conversation with my whole family in the car:
I don't remember who started the real conversation...something like this:
Mom: She wants to go to Las Vegas to "chase stars." (note: my mom is speaking in Cantonese. "Chase stars" bascially means stalking idols)
Dad: What?
Mom: "Chase stars."
Me: Yeah...
I was pretty much ignored. Lol. I guess not much chance of going.

-end of conversation-
Continue on with my rambling:
I felt somewhat lucky that I actually have a slim chance of going since I don't have school on the 1st filming day. It's better than the crew filming in the middle of a school week when I'm so busy. I wish they come just 2-3 days earlier so if I go, I can stay there longer. I'm sure that people who see them in LV will post some pictures and more news about them. Why can't I go?? Aaargh! >:(
When I first heard about HYD filming in U.S. and Hong Kong, I was really shocked. I remember it was the day after I got back from Hong Kong. I was screaming...like "Why? I JUST came back from HK, and Jun is going there!!??" This is not cool at all. Since now I've returned to California, I was hoping that the HYD crew will come to CA, somewhere close to where I live...Well, LV is pretty close, I guess. Better than all the way across the U.S. in New York or somewhere else on the east coast. It makes perfect sense that they're going to LV since there are many fancy hotels there. But, why are they going to HK, seriously? Since I was born in HK, have lived there for 10 years, and going back there pretty much every summer, I view HK more as my home, even though I'm physically in CA. I've been thinking really hard what scenes they'll film in HK. I mean there are some really pretty and high-class looking places in HK, but what exactly are they doing there? Some commercial stuff since HK is like a big financial center? Maybe they're going to film in IFC since many movies have scenes filmed there, like the upcoming Batman movie. That'll be pretty cool. HK is also famous for shopping and eating...Maybe Doumyoji and Makino will appear in one of those new, big, fancy shopping malls? How I wish I can go to LV or my birth place HK to see Jun, Shun, and Mao...*heavy sigh* I'll just wait patiently for the movie to come out. I seriously complain too much. Sorry.
Good luck to all of those who are lucky enough to go see them! :D
